Sui Liquid Staking Hacker Competition Finalists Overview

After more than 40 days of registration and careful selection, the shortlist for the Sui liquid staking Hacker competition has finally been announced. Each of the two tracks has six teams successfully advancing to the Demo Day stage, let’s take a look at these outstanding projects.

Shortlisted Projects

1. Aftermath Finance A comprehensive decentralized trading platform built on Sui Move, offering diverse features such as spot trading, perpetual contracts, and options.

2. DegenHive Combines the innovative governance model of centralized liquidity DEX and NFTs, dedicated to unleashing the potential of $SUI on the Sui network.

3. Haedal Protocol Based on the Sui liquid staking protocol, users can stake $SUI to obtain haSUI, which allows them to participate in ecological governance and also earn additional income from DeFi activities.

4. Interest Protocol A DeFi protocol that supports swapping and lending, where liquidity providers can stake LP tokens to borrow Sui Dollar stablecoins, effectively hedging against impermanent loss.

5. SUISA SUISA (SUI Staking Aquarium) allows users to stake $SUI to obtain stSUI, which can also be used to mint NFTs in the DeFi protocol.

6. Volo The liquid staking solution on Sui maximizes the utility and liquidity of SUI for users by providing voloSUI.

1. Aftermath Finance Same as described above.

2. Bucket Protocol The CDP protocol on Sui features non-custodial, immutable, and governance-free characteristics, allowing users to collateralize various assets at zero interest in exchange for the desired tokens.

3. Desig Provide a multi-signature solution that is universally applicable across all chains, compatible with all DApps on EVM and non-EVM chains.

4. Kana Labs User-friendly applications aimed at DeFi and GameFi, dedicated to jointly building the future of web3.

5. Legato Provide fixed interest rate solutions for liquid staking assets and predict interest rate volatility innovations on Sui.

6. Wisp Swap Decentralized trading and prediction markets on Sui use an asymmetric concentrated liquidity DEX model with automatically adjusted parameters.

Demo Day Details

• Time: September 29 12:00 - 15:00 (GMT+8)
• Format: Live streaming online via StreamYard
• Process:
  • Each team has 10 minutes for presentation (5 minutes for demonstration + 5 minutes for Q&A)
  • Sponsor presentation session (including Alibaba Cloud, MoveBit, OtterSec)

Review Criteria

• The jury is selected by the Sui Foundation and partners from ecological collaborators, sponsors, and well-known projects.
• Calculate the average score after removing the highest and lowest scores using preset scoring criteria.
• The final results will be announced on October 2nd.

This hackathon event received support from multiple parties including the Sui Foundation, Alibaba Cloud, MoveBit, OtterSec, Cetus, NAVI, and Scallop, showcasing the strong vitality and innovative potential of the Sui ecosystem.
