On August 11, an Argentine Ethereum developer "Fede's Intern" was detained by Turkish authorities in Izmir, Turkey, accused of assisting others in "abusing" the Ethereum network. After the incident, Fede's Intern revealed through social media that the Turkish authorities claimed he helped others abuse Ethereum, but the specific details remain unclear. Fede's Intern denies all charges, emphasizing that he and his team are merely "infrastructure builders" and expressing willingness to cooperate with the authorities.

Fede's Intern stated that the Turkish Interior Minister personally made this accusation. Despite being detained, Fede's Intern continued to post updates on social media, stating that they had been moved to a private room and provided with food, and that they planned to travel to Europe by private jet to continue working with their legal team to address the accusations.

Ethereum developers have already made a fortune, and the internal corruption issue is just the tip of the iceberg; it is estimated that it won't be long before a big scandal erupts.
