📢 Breaking: Fitch says the U.S. is currently imposing an effective tariff rate of 17%, reflecting a 15% levy on EU goods like cars and auto parts.

This is lower than the 30% threatened in July but still above earlier estimates. EU nations now face actual tariffs ranging from 3% to over 18%.
