The Democratic Party of Korea has proposed the country's first stablecoin bill.



According to reports, the South Korean Democratic Party proposed a bill on the 28th to institutionalize stablecoin. On the same day, Democratic Party member Ahn Dae-kyu (phonetic) from the National Assembly Budget Settlement Committee presented a draft law titled "On the Issuance and Circulation of Value-Stable Digital Assets" that includes the aforementioned content.
