SPRIM PRO and ObvioHealth to provide fully integrated trial solution

SPRIM PRO and ObvioHealth, both part of the SPRIM Group, have announced an expansion of their partnership to provide a fully integrated trial solution to sponsors.

This collaboration combines scientific and operational experience with advanced digital capabilities, offering trial sponsors an approach to executing quicker and more subject-centric research worldwide.

SPRIM PRO claims to have supported more than 300 clinical studies in 26 therapeutic fields. Its capabilities are centred on enhancing protocol design, creating digital endpoints, and promoting adherence to regulations by providing training and implementing telehealth programmes.

ObvioHealth’s enterprise-grade solution, the ObvioGo platform, is designed for decentralised and hybrid trials that facilitate real-time data capture and mobile-first participant engagement.

From the initial stages of trial planning, SPRIM PRO and ObvioHealth work together to help sponsors integrate trial design, technology, and engagement strategies.

SPRIM PRO provides guidance on choosing study endpoints and operational strategies. ObvioHealth focuses on integrating digital usability and operational feasibility from the start, which helps to reduce the need for downstream changes and speeds up the trial startup.

A key advantage of the alliance is the development of next-generation digital endpoints.

SPRIM PRO has created and validated more than 300 custom instruments, many of which use subject or caregiver-submitted audio, images, and video. These are captured via the ObvioGo platform, which also incorporates biosensors, wearables, and telehealth visits.

Subject engagement and retention are also focal points of the collaboration.

SPRIM PRO noted that, through customised multimedia programmes, it has trained more than 125,000 subjects, consumers, and caregivers, as well as over 40,000 healthcare professionals.

ObvioGo's platform complements these efforts with its user-friendly interface and automated features, aiming to minimise subject burden.

ObvioHealth CEO Ivan Jarry said: "This partnership with SPRIM PRO allows us to bring science and technology into alignment from day one. We've built ObvioGo to remove friction at every stage of the clinical trial journey.

“By integrating digital workflows early and pairing them with SPRIM PRO's scientific depth and operational rigor, we're offering sponsors a seamless, end-to-end solution that accelerates trial success and delivers data that is both meaningful and regulatory-ready."

In 2023, ObvioHealth entered a partnership with Chemist Warehouse, aiming to increase the efficiency of trials in Australia.
